Welcome and Thanks for Visiting our Website! On behalf of the faculty and staff, it is my pleasure to welcome to you Brush Creek Elementary School. We are excited about the year ahead and look forward to many successful and productive experiences in learning. Our goal is to work together to provide every child with the best education possible.
Brush Creek Elementary serves approximately 400 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. I feel very fortunate to be the principal at Brush Creek Elementary and love serving the teachers, students, parents and members of the Brush Creek community.
I am a Madison County native, graduate of Madison High School and being named Principal at Brush Creek Elementary is like coming home for me since I attended school in this community as a student. I began my career with Buncombe County Schools as a teacher at North Buncombe Elementary School where I taught kindergarten, first and third grades. I then served as an Elementary Instructional Coach for four years, providing professional development and support to teachers in numerous elementary schools across Buncombe County. I transitioned into school administration in 2012, serving as the Assistant Principal at W.W. Estes Elementary in Buncombe County. I learned a lot and value the experiences I have had in each of these positions. In June 2015, I was fortunate enough to be named Principal at Brush Creek Elementary School. It is an honor to return home to Madison County and continue my career in this community.
We hope that you get involved in the activities of our school and we look forward to working with you! Parents, families, and community members are such an important part of our school and our children’s education.
Please feel free to email me, email@example.com, call, or stop by the school. Each month, I will send out Brush Creek Elementary - The Bear’s News newsletters with school highlights and information. Again, thanks for visiting and Go Brush Creek Bears!
